  1. We haven't had a lot of new movies in the theater this year...well...hardly any.   Let's harness our creativity and use our personal experience to come up with some ideas about what a historical fiction of movie would be like  to encapsulate 2020.
Each student, do the following:
1.  Give a title to your movie that begins with 2020: __________
2.  State the genre (action? thriller?  horror?  comedy?  romance?  arthouse?  mystery?  satire/mockumentary? etc.)
3.  State your name:  screenplay by....
4.  Write a 4 point summary of what happens in your movie.    You can follow this framework:   "In a world ___(setting)____, one/ many/ team ___(characters)______, fight/struggle/verb to _____(central conflict)_____.   (Ask a question that tempts your audience).    This (release date), come and see (theme of the movie).   A film by ___(your name)___ starrring ___(actors or objects that will be acting)_____.
Post your movie mock up / pitch on this padlet.  It is worth 100 points, and is your exit ticket.  We will be voting on movies with the best ideas, and the top three winners will get a prize.
