Think about how you would begin to write your own short story. I want you to develop one character, it can be a human(woman, man, child, teenager) or an animal. Give your character some characteristics so we know what they are like. And finally put them somewhere (setting). Describe your character and the place where they are so that the reader can see it. Please post images of what your character might look like and an image or images of where they are.

Little Ricky never really liked school. He thought one day he would be the greatest break dancer in the world, like his idol "Crazy Legs." So every day after school, he would pull out a piece of cardboard from his bag-pack, hit play on his boombox and dance on the corner of Highland and 125th street. He was a cocky little 12 year old, dark skin like his momma, a thin nose like pops, and always with ashy elbows. He didn't care that his bro always made fun his elbows. He just danced. The smell of pan dulce coming from Lolitas, and the cigar smoke falling from Big Ed's bailbonds always filled the corner.
