Outward Bounds licensing system is designed to confirm that member Schools have appropriate and sustainable systems for overseeing and managing risks for their participants, staff, and the environments in which they operate

All staff are certified as Wilderness First Responders, Wilderness Advanced First Aiders or the equivalent and meet all Outward Bound, local (such as school or school board reqirements), OPHEA, state and federal requirements for their positions.

  • Paddle Canada Wilderness Camping Instructor + Canoe Tripping Introductory Level Instructor (an asset) 
  • Post Secondary education in outdoor education, adventure therapy, or relevant field.
  • Police background check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check.
