Then we entered the world of connectors, with which we did several exercises. First, we worked on some sentences, and then also on comparative sentences between two students and their shopping habits.

With the connectors, we didn’t just make sentences; we also wrote a comparative text in which we had to use several connectors to compare one topic with another. For this assignment, I chose the topic of cinema and literature, based on Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel Love in the Time of Cholera and its film adaptation, because I have experienced both. They are indeed different, but both offer a great experience for the audience.
