Free wireless internet is pretty much everywhere
If you use free wireless internet that is fake they can see everything(usernames, passwords)
A site that has ‘HTTPS’ is a secure WiFi and it will have a lock next to the URL. The ‘S’ means encrypted, so that the message will come in gibberish.
You can use a VPN to stop yourself from getting hacked.

When using free WiFi, it’s safer to use a website with a lock on and that starts with ‘https’ as it means your data is encrypted and hackers can’t acesss the real data.

Getting a VPN is safer as your data is private and once again hackers can’t access it when using free WiFi without a password.

When a website begins with with HTTPS, your data is encrypted and whilst a hacker can access your data, it will all be in gibberish and it won’t be much use.

Using a VPN also encrypts your data so it’s a lot safer because of your connections being private.
