I agree to an extent with the global culture approach as many TV series from the same culture infiltrate through onto Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. It is rare for a Bollywood series to be showcased on Netflix (where there is a small market) but there are Bollywood films available to an audience. Other countries however, have different shows tan TV dramas they can watch in their particular country however which counters the idea of homogenisation. In my area of study, many american shows make their way onto Netflix and APV, this is why I am inclined to skew more to the theory of The Global Capitalism Approach as only mainstream media (usually western English speaking) makes its way onto the screen.
