I feel the most confident about the charcoal drawing itself because it demonstrates contrast and somewhat accurately resembles the original photo. I would change the way I carved "determined" or my placement of it because the thick lettering makes it difficult to see any of my eyes, and although I like the background, I might also change it in order to make it more visually interesting.

I feel most confident about the shading of the selfie in some parts as they're relatively accurate and add contrast to the drawing. However, I think I could alter the structure/shape of the face and placement of my facial features to make it more accurate. I would also add more saturation or more color to the background in addition to the flat layer I have now.

I feel most confident about the outlining of my selfie. Especially the sweatshirt, it took me a lot of time to carefully outline it to make it look realistic. If I had more time I would probably spend more time detailing the crevices of my face to make my face look a little bit more defined.

I feel confident about the boldness of the self portrait, even though the blue is dark. I also really like how I used complementary colors for more visual appeal. I think in general, I would have preferred more if an ombre background, but it did not end up that way. I would also want to add more dimension to the image.

In my drawing, I feel most confident of the sketch and the shading of my selfie. I've never been able to draw anything that looks remotely similar to me before, so I feel really good about finally being able to do it. It turned out exactly how I wanted: everything is proportional, the shadows are in the right places, and the right expression is captured on my face (same expression as in selfie). This isn't so much as an addition as it is a change... if I could, I'd go back to the start and make my selfie a little bit further away from my face. I felt that, at the end, the word ("imagination") didn't have quite enough space and maybe should have been bigger.

In my final project I love the print. I played around with printing negative space because I wanted the letters to stand out. I did many practice prints before I printed on my piece and I think it paid off because I actually printed twice on my drawing but I did a lot of practice so that it was hard to tell. An alteration I would make would be toning down the colors a bit. I tried to use bright colors to mirror my word but I think that they were almost too much. This is because I spent a lot of time trying to get a wide range of values in my charcoal drawing using the vine charcoal and the eraser but I think that the bright yellow really distracts from the drawing so I would add some of the red and purple color in my stamp to the background to minimize the distraction of the yellow.
