They partner with many universities and centers including Georgetown University. They are built around providing children the resources to thrive, no matter if they have special needs, speak two languages, are blind, or deaf, or even have behavioral issues.

One of the main things that help improve safety in communication, being engaged with the patient, doing an accurate medication record, teach back for education, and having a safe handoff. Other things that helped to improve safety was technology and days for staff to learn the technology.
