I want to know what are some cool traditions from other cultures in my country? Do people from different cultures celebrate the same holidays or different ones?

Vietnamese wasn't always in Latin; it was actually written in Chinese characters before Westerners came to teach and translate Vietnamese-but-originally-written-in-Chinese language into Latin characters used by all in Vietnam now. Even though the words were translated and transformed into another completely different form, their pronounciation and meaning still stayed the same.

Specifically because of this, even now, you can trace back many, many Vietnamese words back to Chinese.

It's very interesting.
