In this course, I learned the importance of relationship management between communities/organizations, business development, corporate development, and strategic planning when identifying gaps. I also learned how to create a report that identifies critical issues in my community, a public service announcement and community analysis. In the end, I was given an opportunity to build a website that incorporated all the principles and philosophies I listed above to show how my organization can help improve the community.

This report not only showed me how to create a CNA, but also enabled me to learn principles and techniques in identifying critical issues within the community. I was also able to learn how to complete a data analysis of the poverty circumstances in the local community and determine an action plan to aid in revamping the community (via support from different organizations).
