To me, this row of microphones represents free speech. They aren't the same style, and only one is in focus, showing how unremarkable the collection is. There are many, which one would you like to use? This gives me the idea that wherever these microphones are, is a place where anyone can record or broadcast whatever message they wish to. To me, this is free speech.

I think of the bill of rights when I think of the freedom of speech. The bill of rights has our amendments on it, and the very first that almost everyone knows is the freedom of speech. I feel that it was very important to the beginnings of our new country and partially what we(America) are built on.

Protesting is a way to get your voice out to the world with people able to hear you. With also forming peaceful marches and protesting on certain public lands.

I chose this visual example of free speech, since being able to share your opinions with others is a very important aspect of free speech. While sharing your opinion is important it is equally as important to have people respect and understand what you are saying. This picture shows me a person expressing their opinion while others are listening and taking it into consideration.

To me, "free speech" means we can say anything we want besides going too far, such as making dangerous threats. This term can be applied to sharing ideas or what can be changed for the world. We can also protest peacefully without destroying properties, or streets. The location where we can protest is outside of the government building if we are authorized.

To me, the incomplete sphere represents freedom of speech. the shadow and scrawled mess of the image is what we hold in our mind, issues unable to be wrought out until an opening is created. the hole of the sphere that makes it a crescent opens what we fear and value to be shared with others, it allows communication of error and the ability to fix the issues that come our way.

When I think of freedom of speech, this is the image I imagine because whenever I go to places like this people would always stand up in the front of the stage to talk about how they feel or what they feel when they speak for their rights.What I think about freedom of speech is that people should gather around and say what they have to say that has to be heard.

To me, these people dancing on a stage represents free speech. The outfits, the dance style, and the emotions that come out show a lot. It shows that even if you are at a park, at a dance studio, or even a grand stage, the emotion and feeling that someone is putting out is their version of freedom.

TO ME, and me only, this image of Travis Scott, the famous American rapper is a representation of freedom of speech because it shows a person as how another person sees them. Travis Scott in this image is represented with his head inside of a toilet, which could be seen as a negative view or even an insult. However, the choice of using an image of Scott in which he is smiling shows how this person wants their work to be interpreted in a possibly different manner. The background image of the toilet is of lower quality, showing how it's less significant than the star of the show, the 4k image of Travis Scott, smiling in glory. People may dislike Travis Scott. They may see him as a stupid head in a toilet. However, this image shows him as more than that. A gem in a desert of sand. It's a representation on how Scott started from nothing and grew, becoming an amazing rapper in the process.

This symbolizes the anti war protests in the late 1960s for the Vietnam war. Americans have the freedom to protest put up signs and spread awareness. Other governments around the world do not have that privalege. Now with new technology anybody can make a post or send a email and say what they want. People even make memes and really ofessensive things about very superficial and important people like the president. Even in songs people are allowed to express themselves just like the Blackbird song that represented the worn out and dead soldiers in the war. Freedom of speech may seem very minor to some people but its changed so many things. For example Martin Luther King Jr's I have a dream speech changed the perspective of many people to put up a fight for segregation.

I believe freedom of speech is being able to say anything offensive or not. I think as long as people don't act on the words, then they are allowed to say anything they want. If people can't say what comes to their mind then are they truly free?.

This picture of MLK being crowded by reporters represents free speech and how powerful using your voice can be. When I see this image, I think of how strong you have to stand on a podium or a stage and put your ideas into the world for people to dissect and criticize your words. Seeing MLK being questioned about his ideas and views about society. This image makes me feel empowered because it shows how your words can make a difference and an impact on your community or even, the whole world.
