I think this because, everyone in Ally's class was judging her of how well she does. But Ally has dyslexia and she learns differently. I think the author did this for a reason. Having the setting take place in a school helps the reader relate more to the book. I understand the friendship that Ally, Keisha, and Albert have. As the book says they  “set the world on fire.” In the beginning of the book Ally refuses to try at school because of her learning disabilities. But her friends has helped her believe in herself and overcome challenges and conflicts.
