         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since I plan to teach the 11th or 12th grades in social studies, my technology use plan involves using Wikitools. My students will use Wikitools to build their own individual websites that allows them to post their test results, information that they found interesting, and other ways to customize their sites to show that it is their's. What this does is it allows students to not only be creative, but to also show their learning and document their development as students.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Impact of SED 501</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I knew that I could have, in theory, simply become a school teacher in Arizona without an education degree. However, I knew that without the information gleaned from the MAC program my life as a teacher would have been incredibly difficult. From lesson planning, to resource-use planning, and to this very project I knew that they would all be crucial in my development as a teacher. Lesson planning is not a simple thing to do, so developing an understanding of the nuances of it is extremely important to me. Similarly, the use of technology in the classroom is another key component to learn. One may think that can just walk into the classroom and use technology, but it must be done in an intelligent manner that actually aids learning, not just makes class entertaining.</div>]]></description>
