The purpose of quizzing is to check knowledge and understanding, test of information recall but with less pressure than an assessment. Can be differentiated easily. Provides the opportunity to asses learning outcomes and restructure future sessions. Quizzing can be fun and there are lots of different ways this can be done. Can be used for personal development, can allow learners to work together and work on other skills such as digital skills.

Allows learners to be creative in their learning and not so focused on curriculum.
