"My name is Erma Bayno Pagado Lahoylahoy. I am a third-year irregular student majoring in Bachelor of Elementary Education but I'm with the BSHM-2A in this subject. I am a 22-year-old young lady residing in Brgy. 6 Tuburan, Cebu. People often refer to me as "Er" or "Ma" for short, which shortens my already short name. I have a passion for drawing, painting, writing, and reading books, especially novels. I also enjoy singing and occasionally dancing. Some may wonder why I became an irregular student. To put it briefly, I took a break last year due to unforeseen circumstances that were beyond my control. Sometimes, our plans don't unfold as expected, mainly due to financial challenges. Consequently, I sacrificed my dream so that my brother could pursue his. Now, I am determined to demonstrate that I can stand on my own feet without relying on others. When I attempted to re-enroll, our dean informed me that I would be classified as an irregular student due to changes in the curriculum. Despite this, I consider myself fortunate as being irregular has allowed me to meet diverse individuals from various departments and sections. I believe that being an irregular student is not a disadvantage."
