For my self evaluation of my performance for this term, I would say that I performed a little bit below my expectations but that is fine. In hindsight, I probably should've worked a lot harder and studied more so that I could've gotten better grades and outdo myself from the previous term but due to many reasons, I couldn't do it. There were just too many external and internal factors and distractions that had just made me unable to fulfill what I wanted to. But honestly, this has made me learn that I can't always be perfect or be invulnerable to mistakes. It was a very humbling experience.

Specific: My specific goal of getting a final grade of B+ or an A in Math I think has been accomplished.

Measureable: This goal has certainly been accomplished as I have used the 1st Term Math E-PRF to the best of its abilities and kept track of all of my results that came out within the term.

Attainable: I think that this goal has been fulfilled seeing as the first term has already been completed and is already over, but I am fully confident in my performance. Thus, I have "attained" it.

Relevant: This has been accomplished as doing well in Math has always been relevant to me and my life. Getting good grades for this term has an impact on my SHS application which is VERY relevant to me too.

Time-Bound: Finally, This goal has been accomplished as I have done everything for this term in a timely and efficient manner.

Specific: My specific goal for this term is to achieve either a final grade of A in Math.

Measureable: This is doable by keep track of my progress the use of the E-PRF. This way, I can take a look at all my past and recent grades to see if they have been improving or worsening and then determine if I need to study more.

Attainable: This goal is as said, "Attainable", if I just simply put in the time and effort into my tests, homework, and performance tasks and try hard to receive the best scores.

The individuals that will help me achieve these goals are primarily my parents, teachers, and classmates. My parents will help me through mental motivation support. Secondly, my teachers will obviously help me by teaching me the topics. Lastly, me and my classmates can help each other through friendly competition to challenge ourselves to do better.

Relevant: For everyone, our goals must be relevant and in my case it is utmost important for me as I need to perform well to have something to show for my ASHS application. Not only that but I have been performing well in the past terms so I want to keep this going.

Time-Bound: With everything in life, you must manage your time well. I can achieve this goal by setting aside what's least important and focusing on what needs to be dealt with currently. Distributing hours on tasks throughout the day will help. It will take me the entire term to achieve the goals and my specific time frame would be until the end of October.

A misconception that I see way too often is how people get the cfb from the formula of the Median of grouped data.
This misconception normally occurs for people who have just been introduced to the topic and have not fully understood the concepts.
This is because at first glance, when asked to find the cfb of a median, one would not think to find the number before the median class but instead think that the number within the median class is the cfb. However this is not the case.
In order to solve this misconception, we need to keep in mind that when trying to find the cf from the formula of the median of grouped data, we must remember to look for the class frequency PRECEDING the median class. Basically, the frequency before it. In fact, that is what the "b" in cfb stands for, "before". Now this, ladies and gentlemen, is how you find the cf from the given formula.

I found that the most challenging task for me was Quiz #5 which involved the topic of measures of dispersion. I found this quiz/test to be the most challenging thing I've gone through in math this term because of a stupid mistake that I did. To put it lightly, I simply didn't study in preparation for the test the days before. It was such a simple but grave mistake with obvious consequences. Going in, I thought that it would be easy since I got the basic gist of things and we were going to review before the test anyways so I had no worries. Maybe a reason why I didn't do so well was because we were only alloted one session for this lesson and so I couldn't process all the information needed. Nevertheless, I should've studied. Let this be a lesson and a testament to how important it is to come prepared for something.

For this term, I personally think that my best work was when I finally scored 28.5 out of 30 points in a recent long test, Long Test #2 Introduction to Statistics/Measure of Central Tendency. I finally achieved this high score after going through quiz after quiz and other tasks. All of these experiences combined made me realize what I needed to work on and improve to do better every time. Due to a lot of hardwork, perseverance, and patience, I was in the end, able to achieve a highly desirable result for a major long test. After seeing what came out of my studies, I was very happy and was quick to share this result with my other classmates.

For this term, there was no actual group tasks that were assigned by our teacher. However, we were called by our teacher to solve something on the board in groups of three. There was no official picking of a leader within the group but since I had the most knowledge amongst the three of us, I kind of led them in order to solve it. We all worked together to answer the given problem and when we finished, we actually got it right.
