It may be painful right now. It might be incredibly unbearable. But it will not last forever. You will have days where it dissipates and you can breathe. No one may know or no one may understand but I hope you know there are people out there who understand the pain you are going through. You can only be defined by yourself. Only you can decide who you are and what defines you.

I don’t know your specific experience or how your healing process will go. However, I can share some insight of my own in hopes of helping you. In my experience the darkness, feelings of guilt/shame and the pain does not last forever. There will be days that are harder than most in which you have to hold on. Just remember, the light will shine again and overtime you can learn how to manage those dark thoughts. Just remember that none of what happened was your fault. I hear you and I believe you. You matter. Your story matters. You are not alone. I stand with you. Please hold on, this world needs you ❤️
