My example of culturally responsive Math teaching is in my Math teacher's class at the beginning of the semester. He has his students do family shields/crests and then make posters of "them" to decorate the classroom and share with the other students; they include favorite food, family, pets, hobbies, etc... My goal today is to leave here knowing how I can be a better administrator and able to guide my teachers through PLCs better.
