This is an example of a book that helped people get into astrology without making it too complex or difficult to understand. This book is called "A tutor to astrology", or, "Astrology made easie being a plain introduction to the whole art of astrology", and as the title describes it, it would function as a tutor for people, explaining the basics of astrology. And this is not the only example of a book like this, since they were pretty common.
https://www.proquest.com/eebo/docview/2240971829/fulltextPDF/140132B30B684892PQ/1?accountid=14598&tocViewMode=tocViewModeSearchOther

The advent of printing provided a further means of spreading the tenets of astrological medicine and astrological topics in general, and the seventeenth century took advantage of that. People were able to find books and publications about astrological paths and changes. There were books for people who were more in contact with these topics, but there were also books for people who knew nothing about it but that wanted to learn a little bit more and to get deeper in this world. Daily publications were common as well, were people could follow changes in astrology related topics, almost as a newspaper but for astrologers.

CLARK, CHARLES WEST.

University of Colorado at Boulder ProQuest Dissertations Publishing, 1979. 7923223.

https://www.proquest.com/emb/docview/302924207/C46CE37D3D15448FPQ/1?accountid=14598

Through the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, some physicians decided that these practices were less accurate than they initially thought, but nevertheless, astrological related themes were very important to many people for centuries to come. Astrology defined many of the most important aspects of early modern style: people would usually consult almanacs and read their horoscopes on a daily basis. Where could they find these information that was so important for them back then?
