In the&nbsp;quadruped stifle&nbsp;(analogous to the knee), based on its&nbsp;anatomical<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatomical_terms_of_location#Sources_of_confusion"> </a>position, it is also referred to as the&nbsp;<b>cranial cruciate ligament</b>.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you tear your ACL you tear a ligament in the center of your knee. Symptoms of an ACL include hearing a loud pop sound when you bend your knee the wrong way. Doctors are the ones who offically diagnose you with an ACL tear in your knee. They do X-Rays on your knee to check.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There are many ways that you can treat an ACL tear. You can do physical therapy or just rest your leg. Physical therapy takes a couple of months to completely heal the torn ACL.  You participate in various excersises to help rebuild the torn ACL.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There are many ways to prevent an ACL injury. For example, in the NFL players should only be allowed to tackle above the knees in the thigh area so they could not suffer as many injuries.  Some actions we can take is players could wear knee braces to try to avoid these very serious injuries.</p>]]></description>
