In the movie/show Dogberry was a character that watches over the city. He sees that he has a responsibility. He does anything to find justice, the right answer, literally anything. The way he showed help in the movie was by finding if Borachio is lying or telling the truth, by interrogating him. And because of him getting the truth out Claudio and Hero were able to get married, and get Don John arrested due to frame. In my project, I included pictures of a horse of two people on the horse showing that he is grateful to his partner Verges. ”Well, God's a good man; an two men ride of a horse, one must ride behind“. My other picture showed how he seeks justice and sent Don John to prison. The other tweet I made was about how he was grateful and got an award he has wanted. Dogberry is also a person who is honest, he trusts people like how he trusted that his watchmen were telling the truth.

Although Dogberry is a minor character, his actions in the prince’s watch help capture Borachio and save the wedding by accident by finding the person who deceived the two princes, and Claudio, into thinking that Hero slept with another man. To show this I chose to do an Instagram story. For one image, there is a person with handcuffs on with a caption saying “just caught this person of very discerns to us.” based on the line when Dogberry was talking to Leonato:” Marry, sir, I would have some confidence with you that decerns you nearly.” This moment in the play is very important because it shows that dogberry is a fool. When he says discerns to us he doesn’t know the difference between discern and concern. So he mixed the two up and caused governor Leonato to misunderstand and deny his requests to integrate in front of him and told him to integrate him on his own. Which caused a disaster, because if Dogberry didn’t mix those two words up then the wedding would have been saved and Hero’s name would have been cleared. Another image I used was A photo of a dog with a caption of “Truly I wouldn't even hang a dog much more than a man who has honesty in him.” this line is based on when Dogberry is talking to his men in the princes watch:” Truly, I would not hang a dog by my will, much more
a man who hath any honesty in him.”  This line in the play shows Dogberrys trust in his men and he knows his men are honest, Also it shows that Dogberry thinks honesty is the most important factor in trust to trust in someone. Another thing Dogberry shows from this quote is that he has mercy and if you are simply upfront and honest with him then he will be merciful. Overall I believe that Dogberry shows that Honesty reveals the amount of trust they have in you, specifically when they put one’s trust in you.

Dogberry is a constable who watches over the city of Messina in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Being a constable is an enormous responsibility to him and he values truthfulness in his work, but he appears casual and odd but comical in carrying out duties. To depict his view of righteousness, I made his Spotify playlist. For one song, I chose Face Off by Tech N9ne. Based on what Dogberry tells his watchmen: “If you meet a thief, you may suspect him, by virtue of your office, to be no true man, and for such kind of men, the less you meddle or make with them, why the more is for your honesty.” and from the verse in the song, "Ali I’m paying the homage, policy is to be honest." This all confirms Dogberry's view of honesty. The quote explains that the less you have to do with thieves or dishonesty, the more honest you will be. The verse associates with this because the line, "policy is to be honest." This indicates that truthfulness is a principle to be followed. They both express that honesty is an adequate characteristic. To depict his unusual but humorous approach to his duties, I chose the song Big Shot by Retrospecter. Regarding when Dogberry was called an _, "yet forget not that I am an _... as pretty a piece of flesh as any is in Messina... go to, and a rich fellow enough, go to, and a fellow that hath had losses, and one that hath two gowns and everything handsome about him... Oh, that I had been writ down an _ !" The song connects to the quote, not from the lyrics but the character represented by the theme song, Spamton. Dogberry's humor comes from his irony and word usage. He takes the insult and turns it into a joke, saying, "as pretty a piece of flesh". Similar to Spamton from Dealtarune, Spamton is a glitched robot that inserts random phrases in his dialogue. This creates humor from word usage, shown when he was persuading Kris to be a [Big Shot], "KRIS!!! YOU [Little Sponge]! I KNEW YOU'D COME HERE [[On A Saturday Night]]! AFTER ALL, YOU WANNA BE A [Big Shot]! EAHAHAHAHAA!" turning a persuading business message into a comic insult. Dogberry was a minor character but his actions directly influenced the plot with his capturing and interrogating Borachio. I chose to do the Amazon Search, because I can show what  Dogberry would use and purchase in his day to day life. One of my Amazon products was a Pony Stick. I chose the Pony Stick because he rides around on his imaginary invisible horse.Based on the quote when Dogberry and Verges ride up to the Governor's house: “Click clack Click clack”. In this moment when Dogberry and Verges ride up to Leonao's house on their invisible horses while they make the clacking noises regular horses would make. The pony stick would be great for Dogberry because it would be an actual mount that others could see and not just his and Verges imagenation. Another one of my items in my Amazon List is handcuffs. I chose handcuffs because Dogberry had to work as interrogator for Borachio and Conrad’s hearing in front of the Sexton. Based on this quote when Dogberry is questioning Borachio: “ In the princess name charge them watchmen".Dogberry's comment of being in charge of the interrogation and his role in questioning Borachio shows his loyalty to the prince, and that he will uphold the law.
