         <description><![CDATA[<p>Tshilidzi is making excellent progress in developing his body awareness. He can now name and point to several parts of his body, including his head, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and feet, demonstrating a growing connection between language and physical awareness. During group activities, he confidently copies movements and gestures, enjoying songs and games that involve actions. He shows good coordination and balance, particularly when walking across the balancing beam or taking part in movement exercises. His enthusiasm and confidence in using his body continue to grow each day. Well done, Tshilidzi!</p>]]></description>

         <title>Fine Motor:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Tshilidzi has made wonderful progress in his fine motor development. At the beginning of the year, he needed full support during activities and often preferred to observe or explore materials, such as crayons or playdough. With ongoing encouragement and modelling, he now engages with greater confidence and independence. Tshilidzi holds his crayons and paintbrush using a four-finger grip, demonstrating improved control and coordination. He enjoys tearing tissue paper, pasting different materials using craft glue, and picking up small objects with a pincer grip. He also delights in sensory activities, such as rolling, pressing and pinching playdough, threading large beads, and stacking blocks. These activities are helping to strengthen his fine motor muscles and improve his hand–eye coordination. Tshilidzi has shown a clear preference for using his left hand, indicating developing left-hand dominance. Great work, Tshilidzi!</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Tshilidzi enjoys being active and shows great enthusiasm for outdoor play. He loves running around with his friends and joining in games filled with movement and laughter. He also enjoys dancing and happily participates in action songs, confidently copying and performing the movements with joy and energy. He is developing his ball skills, making progress in catching and kicking, although he often prefers to pass the ball gently when asked to throw. During obstacle course activities, he climbs, crawls, jumps and balances with growing coordination and control. His balance and body awareness are improving, particularly when walking along the balancing beam or navigating uneven surfaces. Tshilidzi’s confidence in physical activities continues to grow as he explores new challenges. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Tshilidzi has made wonderful progress in his visual development. He confidently identifies and recognises a wide range of shapes, including circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, ovals, diamonds, stars and hearts. He can also recognise many colours, such as yellow, red, green, blue, orange, purple, pink, brown, black and white. Although his speech is still developing, he demonstrates clear understanding by accurately pointing to objects, pictures, colours and shapes when asked. He is beginning to name shapes, colours and familiar everyday objects, even if his pronunciation is still a little unclear. He can sort and group objects according to their colour and shape, showing strong visual discrimination and perceptual skills. It is wonderful to see his growing confidence and enjoyment in learning through visual exploration. Amazing progress, Tshilidzi!</p>]]></description>

He responds well to changes in tone and rhythm, clapping or moving along with music and familiar tunes. He follows simple verbal instructions confidently, demonstrating good listening and growing comprehension skills. During auditory games, such as identifying animal sounds or musical instruments, he listens attentively and can correctly point to the matching picture or object, showing his ability to associate sounds with meaning. He also enjoys echoing simple words, sounds and rhythms, which supports his speech and language development. His attentiveness and enjoyment of auditory activities continue to strengthen his listening and communication skills.</p>]]></description>

He loves painting using different tools, including paintbrushes, sponges, rollers and his fingers, experimenting with colours and textures to create unique effects. He also enjoys pasting and layering materials such as tissue paper, maize meal, glitter and coloured paper, applying craft glue with enthusiasm and care. Taking pride in his creations, he enjoys sharing his artwork with others, showing both creativity and confidence. Responding to changes in tempo and tone, he claps, stomps or moves his body in time with the music. His enthusiasm for musical activities supports coordination, listening skills and creative expression. He is becoming more responsive to spoken language, showing clear signs of recognising familiar words, phrases and tones during daily interactions. He enjoys imitating sounds and words and eagerly attempts to repeat new vocabulary introduced during activities. He shows great curiosity and enthusiasm when learning additional languages, often copying Afrikaans, isiZulu and simple sign language signs.
