The second amendment is one of the most important liberties we have in my opinion. I think there do need to be some rules and regulations put in place to kind of guide the use of it, but there's a fine line when those regulations start infringing on our rights as citizens. I can agree with background checks and taking a class for your concealed carry permit, but if you can pass a background check and pass the concealed carry class (and are of age) then I don't really see an issue with someone owning a gun. Some states don't have a class for your concealed carry permit, in Georgia you just have to pass a background check and sign a registry thing. I prefer having the class be required just so all the rules are understood. But that's just my personal belief.

I saw a guy packing a six shooter the other day at Harris Teeter, it made me think we were in the old west. An old Russian leader once was asked if he thought Russia would ever invade America, he said absolutely not, there is a gun behind every blade of grass.
