I think that Pax will go and looking for Peter. but some pet care will see Pax and take him away. and the grampa will take him to get a pet and Pax will be there. and he will take Pax home. but when the dad comes home from the war. and peter will try to hide Pax from his dad. but the dad will find out. and he will chuckle and he will say he is sorry for taking Pax away. this book is rilly good and I can't wate to see what happens nexest.

Pax is trying not to go back home because he thinks Peter is coming back to him and Peter is looking for him. I predict that Peter will get caught and his grandpa will tell his dad. I think Pax will eventually start heading home

I think the author was smart to alternate each character to see what there doing and what there thinking. I think that Peter will try to find Pax and Pax well try to find Peter and Peter will get lost when he is trying to find Pax.

I really like the book so far .It is really sad that they had to take pax back to the woods. I think that when the police come looking for peter I think that they will find peter then ask him if he saw peter then he will say no after that the police will rub his head and say thank you.When the police rub his head I think the dirt will rub off then the police will take him back to peters grandpas house.

I thought it was really cool how the author alternated from the fox telling the story to the boy telling the story. I think Peter will find Pax and bring him back to his grandpa's house. Then I think the police will find peter and take him away.

I think Pax can't stand waiting for Peter and go search for him and they will meet at the middle of Peter's journey to find pax. But I don't think Grampa will let them keep Pax and he will be mad or sad that Peter was gone for all these times.
