Besides school, I enjoy my free time with my children and spouse of 13 years. Before school and kids I loved to hike, rock climb, bike and surf. I have had to adjust my life to accommodate everything and now spend most of my time in the gym for exercises. I believe it is vital for brain health. I am usually running, swimming, or in a weight training class. I love to bake cakes. My spouse and I have lived all over the state of California. We finally are grounded in Venture County for now. I have been in the field of Early Childhood for over 10 years. I have two AA degrees, one in Liberal Arts and one in Early Childhood Education. I hold a site supervisor permit from CDE. I am a CA Director Mentor for Moorpark College. I am also one of 11 people in the state to become a State Assessor for the Business Administration Scale for QRIS. I am a very committed advocate for ECE.
