I think she likes to daydream and has a vivid imagination, because she doesn't seem surprised when a rabbit speaks English (That was not such a strange thing, nor did Alice think it so much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say, "Oh dear! Oh, dear! I shall be late!"). Maybe she often fantasize about things like that so when it happens in real life, she just thinks it is her imagination and doesn't care very much.

And I also belive that she wants to do stuff all the time, like she never sits still which you can see when she watches her sister read a book without pictures and thinking that its the most boring thing in the world.
