Chris Gardner has been evicted from his apartment, his wife left him, and he has a young son counting on him. However, he doesn’t pack it in and give up. He takes matters into his own hands and decides that he has to be the source of the change that he wants to have in his life. He doesn’t waste any time feeling bad for himself, he just works towards creating a better life for himself and his son and it all pays off in the end. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that people who are meant to be together will find their way to each other. In this song, the lyrics are saying that he was born to love her and that no matter where he goes or what he does, everything always comes back to his love for her. His love for her is the most dominant thing in his life, and he believes he was supposed to find her. They are soulmates.

I think that finding your own individual happiness is the most important thing to do in life, and that everyone should be on a mission to find that happiness, regardless of what anyone else might think of them. Although it may be hard to find happiness, I don't think anyone should ever give up on finding it.
