Making music is considered as one of the basic life skills. It has been heard that children does not express music as adults does and Early childhood is the age which is a critical and important period for the musical development of a child. All the children are born with an ability to learn the basic skills like speaking and understanding their native language. In the same way, they have the ability to learn how to perform and their senses are developed enough that they can understand their cultural music (Levinowitz 1998).

Materials are seemed to be vehicles for the learning and communication process. The atelier environment has made it possible through the materials to understand the expressive processes of children in a better way. Atelier is based on communication. Children's first encounter with materials involve investigation and action and it helps the children to make them learn about the process of what they can do with different materials. It inspires them to become creative by building their own ideas and work on it (Schwall 2015, p. 49).

Exploring art is considered as sensory activities for children. There are different techniques that can be used in early childhood to make the children explore texture, density and movement through a wide range of physical encounters that can help them in exploring art at higher levels. This exploration and learning is supported by the logical curiosity and can be foster by the reflective observation. Children gets involved with sensory materials physically and mentally and have the potential to notice and compare the textures and make connections with them (Pelo 2016, p.45).

We live in a multicultural society and every culture is rich in its own kind of heritage and artwork. The Aboriginal artwork is not only based on the relationships with human but with places as well. So, one of the steps we can take in making our teaching practice and learning in early childhood is to build relationships and engage with the local places and by making the children learn about the aboriginal cultural in everyday moments of teaching. Teachers and students need to understand the Aboriginal relations and their communication styles. It is our responsibility to use language that respects the integrity and beliefs of the person and to respect the different families with different value which leads to positive environment and foster the child's learning about cultural beliefs (Yelland & Bentley 2017).
