QUESTION 1
There are some major differences between democratic and authoritarian government. The first major difference is that democratic government is were the people have the power and make big decisions, on the other hand authoritarian government is run by a powerful person or group, and the people don't have power.

QUESTION 2
Democratic government is the most common in our world today. I think that is because people like having a say in things so that they can vote for things that they think is right. The last reason I think why is that not one part of the government can take all the power which is good for everyone.
