         <title>Kings and Queens</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kings and Queens were the greatest lords in the Feudal society. Their castles were for protection built by nobles and knights who were their vassals. As a reward they granted their vassals apart of their land. They became apart of the monarchy by birth right. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nobles were the kings vassal and received land to their service. Even though they were given land Noble gave upper class people money for special occasion. Also they would give food and shelter to people from the upper class if needed. They fought of course fought for the king to receive to land. But if they are given enough land they can become a lord.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Life wasn't very fair for a serf. They worked on land own be a nobles or a knight because serfs didn't ow any land. Serfs were workers tied to the land they lived on. Serfs would never be allowed to leave the land without permission, but to be free they would have to escaped for a year and one day. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Towns and Trade Grow</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Trading towns were usually small but those towns became cities and around the year 1000 more towns formed. Trading was good for farmers because they could get new technology that would make it easier to farm. Towns were going from the trade increase. Knights didn't want any more land for their service but instead wanted money weakening the manor system. Crusades led to people leaving manors too. </div>]]></description>
