Another thought I had was how the town dehumanized Tom, but because the help of Atticus, this help show that Tom was a kinda young man who wouldn’t harm anyone. Atticus later stated that the person who beat Mayella did it with their left hand. This made me pause because it was the final pice of evidence that helped me conclude that it was her dad who raped her. It is well put together and beautiful. And having to hear miss mayela from Tom Robinson’s point of view is probably very frustrating. The way he sat still being patient while listening to false information was incredible.
