“What if I look bad? What if he’s not interested in me”

He let out a sigh as he turned back to his car, not wanting to continue before he hear Taehyung’s voice from afar, probably from his own imagination. “Jeon Jungkook, you better get your ass in the diner or else I’m kicking out of the apartment” 

He flinched at the imagination voice of Taehyung before shuddered at the thought of Taehyung might kick him for real. He later braved himself and walks to the door. He took another deep breath before opening the door, slightly harsh. The creaking sound of the door made everyone to turn their attention to him, he bowed in embarrassment while muttering sorry under his breathe. 

He spots him immediately, and it’s not really hard to because he’s wearing exactly what Tae said he’d be wearing and there was some sort of presence to him that intrigued Jungkook. Nervously, he rounds the table, pulls out a seat, sits down, and he is instantaneously taken aback by this man’s beauty.

The other man looks up in surprise, black hair shiny and parted neatly out of his eyes, and a dazzling smile immediately blooming on his face and holy shit Jungkook was wrong to not trust Taehyung.

“Jeon Jungkook?” He asks, and when Jungkook responds with a curt and dazed nod, the other reaches out to politely shake his hand, “Hello, I’m Park Jimin—and I guess you’re my blind date.” When Jungkook hears him laugh lightly, he swears he hears angels sing—maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.

They talk for hours, even after their meal is done, ordering little desserts to buy themselves more time to talk. Jungkook had never enjoyed someones presence so much in his entire life, so he didn’t mind when Jimin slipped their fingers together across the table. And he didn’t mind when Jimin did that on their second date, and their tenth, on their three year anniversary, on the day they got engaged, and on the day they were married. ♡
