Firstly, notice the photo is black and white, neither people’s dresses nor cars are current.
In the street you see old street lamps and the clock looks like English.
In the middle of the photo, a person appears dressed in white and with an object that sounds familiar to me to have seen in television programs and documentaries.
He’s wearing a gas mask or something.I think it’s impossible for him to be looking for radiation, there are people on the street.
It could be a recent photo, the war between Ukraine and Russia, or something less actual like the tsunami of Japan for example but in my opinion seems to look for a bomb in a car.
The people around the man in white, they seem calm, not nervous.
I once saw a documentary explaining people’s reactions to queues and the study has shown that the Japanese keep calm in very large queues. On the other hand, it was shown that the English, keep the tail without problems and if someone sneaks in, they get upset but never say or express their angry.

This photo was in b/w format when the photographer took it, or it’s possible that was in colour, and with a computer could be edited in b/w.

In the middle appears a person dressed in a hazmat suit, with a kind of machine looking for abnormal radioactivity in the street. Also, he was putting on a strange mask resulting in a cert type of protection against harmful materials.

On the right we can see a man with two little girls one of them in his right and another in his left hand, it’s highly possible that they could be his daughters. They are looking at the man with his strange suit, with curiosity, and surprise.

On the left, there is a young woman with long hair, she was dressed in a long skirt, heeled shoes, and long hair. All the characters were crossing a street.

In the background, some cars are placed, old fashioned. For the plates, we can figure out that we are watching a photo from the 60’s decade or ’70s, in a city in the U.S.

It’s possible that this person was looking for the attention of the people in the street, focusing their attention on him/her. Peacefully, should be a kind of protest against nuclear energy or similar hazardous energy sources or weapons.

What’s going on in this picture? I think this picture was taken from a nuclear disease accident, as we see the man with hazmat suit and tool with box detecting radioactivity after a problem a neclear plant. I think this picture was taken in 70s because of the cars and the old clothes, specifically from US, I believe.

It looks a very contrast picture. In one hand looks like an old picture in black and white, with old fashio cars and dressing. And in the other hand looks very future and tecnichal with a man dressing a white uniform with a mask to be protected by something chemical and with a very modern tool that seems to detect heavy metals, that can be harmful for the human health.

The rally took place at a nuclear-power plant in Shoreham, Long Island, on June 3, 1979 — International Antinuclear Day — a few weeks after #nytimes staffer Sara Krulwich snapped this picture and a few months after the partial meltdown at Three Mile Island. More than 15,000 people attended.

More than 600 protesters were arrested here today after 15,000 demonstrators gathered on the town beach to protest the construction of a nuclear‐power generating plant by the Long Island Lighting Company.

As the rally ended in midafternoon, hundreds of protesters trained in civil disobedience moved to the construction site, where they took down a gate and climbed over fences. They were arrested on charges of criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. The Suffolk County police said the protesters were being released after receiving summonses for court appearances.

Firstly, it's not a real photo because it mix something fun with something very, very sad and depressing.
In the background all the buildings have been destroyed, surely by bombs, you can still see fire in some places.
I think it could be some place in Africa. There is a black child in the middle of the street. It could also be anywhere else on the planet where there is a war.
I thing is sure a war zone.
To the bottom left-hand of photo there is a boy who watches the destroyed houses.
In the middle of the photo there is a boy doing a performance.
In short, I don’t quite understand what y the photo is trying to explain.

Looking at the photo, the black and write coloured and the dresses people wear, it seems it was taken years ago, maybe in the seventies, in USA. The people were surprised because of the dress the man was wearing. When I see it, I think about a man who is killing a plague. He dressed in a place and he was walking along the street to the building the plague was.

I think this is a photo that joins a dramatic situation, maybe a city after being bombed in some middle eastern country, with the need for children to continue with a normal life. In this case could a boy doing somersaults and jumps in the air to have fun or to release stress. What seems strangest to me in this photo is that the other child has his back turned and is not admiring him…

Parkour! This discipline was created on 80's at the poor suburbs of Paris. It consists on jumping, flipping, flying, rotating, landing and avoiding crashing. Nowadays it's very famous because has appeared on many movies and advertisements. Because of this and its perception of danger, it makes very seight-attractive to common public. So I guess this is an ad to give a visualisation of a war zone, which otherwise could be unnoticed by people that are too habituated to sad images.

All in all, this picture is absolutely manipulated, in the background we can see some buildings that should be collapsed due to an earthquake, or another logical possibility maybe because of a war between two or more countries in some place in Africa or Asia.

In the middle, appears a teenager making some dancing movement, like rap, reggaeton or doing parkour. At the same time, in the bottom left-hand corner, a little boy appears, 7 or 8 years old approximately. He is observing this catastrophic scene.

From my perspective, this composition is had been raising a subject that a lot of people don’t care about it, or just don`t pay attention to it.

It’s the contrast between the situation of “undeveloped countries”: wars, poor infrastructure, policy corruption, and developed ones, generally talking, good infrastructure, strong economy, democracy… Unfortunately, we see every day on the news, similar situations but society are had being numbed.

Certainly, it’s a nondescript photo, almost unbelievable. Two guys recording something in the middle of a desert. Anyone can think or said that it could be a fake picture, like a Photoshopped one. The background can be Arizona dessert, and these men had been copy-pasted with any photo editor.

But, a lot of strange things happen and will happen in the world, so why not? For example, these two guys could be a pair of journalists doing a documentary about a climatic subject. In fact, it’s a fact that desertification must be seriously considered a problem, like in the south of Spain, Almeria.

On the other side, another explanation for this atypical photo should be like an engineer's sound team are interested in recording natural sounds, more specifically, from the desert: the sound of the wind dragging sand, some type of dessert tornados, or a person walking on the sand.

I don't know how to describe the purpouse of the photo. For me, It has no sense...
It makes me remember when I was a child and I went with my aunt to see the last LP in the music market.
It remembers me like the cover of a LP which were eccentric images that the only thing they wanted were to stir up controversy and the need of making talk about them.

It could be the Colorado Desert in North America, although it doesn’t seem real to me.
There are two people in the center of the photo, the shadows of the bodies do not contribute much to define the time in which the photo was taken. The clothes that people wear do not fit too much, one goes summer and the warmest.
In the sand of the dunes there are many footprints.
At the background of the photo there are some mountains, in my opinion they remind me a little of the photos I have seen of the Colorado canyon.

Let's think what two men could do in the middle of a desert with a fluffy ball on a stick.
My first idea was that they desided to play in very eccentric version of golf, but I didn't find any flags and holes for golf balls. Furthermore the photo was made with too professional light. We can notice it on shadows of their bodies which situated in oposite directions. It can't happen in nature without a reflector or multiple light sources.
So, making a conclusion I suppose that this is a photo from the film set and they record a sound of steps on the sand.

Unusual photo, like the others… It doesn’t seem like a protest; a protest could be a pacific question, not all kinds of protest should be with violence and angry people, obviously.

On the contrary, I think could be something like a celebration, people seem to be happy about it, this man climbs into a traffic sign, to jump on the people that are waiting for his jump. These techniques are practised in a lot of companies among the workers, to improve confidence and reliability, or in a team.

I don’t understand German, but this sign may have written a name of a German city on it, maybe they belong to an Amish community.

They hitchhike across Europe, instantly recognizable in the wide-bottomed, corduroy trousers, white shirts and colored jackets that identify them as bricklayers, bakers, carpenters, stonemasons and roofers.

They are “Wandergesellen,” or journeymen — a vestige of the Middle Ages in modern Europe — young men, and these days women, too, who have finished their required training in any number of trades and are traveling to gather experience. Most are from German-speaking countries.

In the past, journeymen traveled under the auspices of a trade association, and today many still do. But many also take up the practice freely, though still adhering to the strict, often arcane, rules handed down largely through word of mouth to preserve the tradition.
