         <description><![CDATA[<div>The words we say/impact we make can last a lifetime (make it positive). I aspired to be a teacher just like my new entrant teacher right from 5 years old, just because of the way she made me feel.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Out of the 8 responses 6 are negative, no wonder our akongas reactions are often negative.&nbsp;<br><br>How do we help our akonga to rewrite scripts, that are not only there own but ones that they have learnt form those around them?&nbsp;<br><br>A number of our akonga always use the same negative script when frustration or conflict occurs. I have started working with the akonga to label the emotion and work through the emotion. Hoping it may help change the script. It will be interesting to see if I am on the right track when we learn strategies to help change negative scripts into positive ones.&nbsp;<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
