I am in my 9th year as a dual language kindergarten teacher. I teach all subjects in English. I have my bachelor of science in Marine Biology and recently got my master's in C&I. I want to learn more about incorporating STEM into my lessons!

I have been a teacher for 25 years now. I love science and I would like to incorporate the STEM principals into science. I am a fossil collector and I enjoy sharing my collection with my students. By the way, I teach 5th grade science all day long which is just perfect for me.

This is my 17th year in teaching and I am constantly needing to know more about our ever-changing curriculums to better serve my students. I have taught 3 years of ELAR, because I love to write, but stuck with science for 14 years. I taught MAP last year, which receives accelerated instruction including the next grade level, so 7th grade received 7 and 8 science. This year I will have 7th grade again, but twice as many students. After their STEM FAIR Showcase projects last year, I am being challenged to meet their needs, so that is why I am here.
