         <description><![CDATA[<div>1 IB 2 American<br><br>We all had very similar extra-curricular activities centered around service/skills&nbsp;<br>ex: MUN, Orphanage hosting, Factory visit for crave/Tamara, Visiting kids hospitals, Cleaning the nile, Kite surfing.&nbsp;<br><br>All 3 of us had access to the same learning facilities whether it’s labs or smart boards.&nbsp;<br><br>Whether it’s American or IB we all had a great improvement in our time management skills due to high workloads and working under stress, which also improved the way we manage our stress.&nbsp;<br><br>IB made me really enjoy presenting, because of the many opportunities to present outside of school.&nbsp;<br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

PE was mandatory ( not a random activity)<br>. 3 field trips per year<br>. School hours 7:30am-2:20pm&nbsp;<br>. 3 15 minute breaks&nbsp;<br><br>American&nbsp;<br><br>. 6-8 subjects per semester&nbsp;<br>. Students had the privilege of choosing their own courses&nbsp;<br>. Course registration&nbsp;<br>. School offered AP courses&nbsp;<br>. PE was just a general activity&nbsp;<br>.STEM<br>. You had to study 2 languages other than your mother tong ( Arabic )&nbsp;<br><br>IG&nbsp;<br><br>. CAS Creativity activity service&nbsp;<br>. You choose your courses based on the career your pursuing &nbsp;<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Deion: American student, structured material and readings enhanced his experience. 1. Type of Educational System: a shift in engagement. Tools and facilities used in learning: Labs, online software (Kahoot), and books and reading. Extracurricular: These activities are able to integrate into my<br>studies to experience and gain understanding!<br><br>Nadine: Help students to develop their communications skills and build<br>a strong social skills and learn how to work in a team to achieve a shared goal.<br>Allow students to have the opportunity to explore different areas of interest, increase self-confidence, build leadership<br>skills and even improve grades, all while having fun. Teach life lessons that are often not taught at school or home such as how to accept failure even when a student thinks he/ f she deserve to win. Provide opportunities for students that can't be replicated anywhere else. For example, experiencing what it's like being on stage with an audience watching. Time management skills can also be better controlled when taking part in an extracurricular activity since teachers sets<br>time limits.<br><br>Nada: American system. growing up in an international school, I had multiple extra curricular and very enhanced technology. It had enhanced my learning so much. I didn't struggle to start university because I had always learned how to study, structure papers and how to organize my time.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
