Most of us at our table feel we are between 7 and 9. One person feels she is at a 2 or 3. Most of us are not classroom teachers.

We know what we want to accomplish, but we're not quite sure how to do it. We bend toward control, but wish we wouldn't.

Most of us are still learning. We strongly believe technology for purpose is important. Not just tech for the sake of tech.

We are at many different levels - between a 4 and 8 - depends on the day and topic.

The hardest thing for us giving up the control of our classroom. We need to find a way to teach students how to use technology in a purposeful way. Just "playing games" is not a purposeful use of technology.

We feel our technology is limiting what we can do in the classroom. We were gung-ho when we started, but lack of updates has limited what we are able to do

Some of us attempt to go outside of our classroom to find resources and experts. One teacher in our group sent students to discuss Iowa History with experts from a facebook group "Forgotten Iowa" for a research project.

Love the idea of an entire grade level doing a big inter-disciplinary unit. Create an experience for students!
