Introduce the request and details about each brief.

In this tutorial, my tutor Jamie pointed out the importance of creating a storyboard, suggesting that it would be very helpful for me in developing my animation. He explained that storyboarding not only helps visualize the flow of the animation but also ensures that each scene is well-structured and connected to the overall concept. I think his advice was really valuable and inspired me to take the process of storyboarding more seriously, encouraging me to refine and polish my ideas before moving on to the actual animation.

This feedback motivated me to invest more effort into crafting a detailed and thoughtful storyboard. I think a well-developed storyboard will not only help me organize my thoughts but also enhance the quality of my final idents animation by allowing me to carefully plan each scene in advance.

I learned the history of Mtv, but I didn't get any information to help my research.

Secondly, the concept of channel is closely related to the advertising style. The cute style of POP and the serious style of BBC show the audience of both channels, namely children and adults.

I collected a total of 16 anonymous questionnaire answers, which I found my classmates or friends in lcc and students in the library to help me complete. I made statistical and data analysis on the results of the questionnaire survey.

From this data, most students think that school time is a time for self-identity exploration. Many students face difficulties and resolve them in the face of challenges, while others choose to run away from them. After facing difficulties, some students think their identity has changed somewhat, some students think that their identity has not changed, and a small number of students think that their identity has changed a lot. The last part is a survey on the social environment's satisfaction with personal identity inclusion. Most students are not satisfied with the environment for identity development provided by society.

To be honest, this step didn't give me any idea about my outcome but it made me realized that something was lacked in my research. I think I needed to get more information from researching the SubTV and the concept related to it.

Both cultural identity and cultural experiences affect how individuals perceive their world, and their beliefs and values (Berry, 2005).

Throughout a youth’s life, there are several ways in society that they can explore their identity.

This concept is so timely, Bauman’s concept of fluid modernity suggests that individuals, including youth, are no longer remaining in one bounded location, or even part of a single invariable identity ( Castanheira, Dixon, Green & Yeagerb, 2006).

I really like the 3d surround effect of multiple sounds in a stereo installation. I stood in front of the piece and I felt as if the choir members were standing next to me singing. In addition, the design of the installation is very beautiful, very church style.

think of what I need to understand about this project, and what information is so far missing. Need to be very clear on how I draw the busy section and plan the movement of every character in that space very carefully. Don't let it be random, but do some rotoscoping about floating animals.

Make sure to write the details of what's going to happen in the storyboard, don't make people guess. Also, need to make notes about is the animation is one shot or is cutting from the next shot to the next shot.

peer’s suggestion: Link it back to music. The city could be playing music and then when the box goes over, it kind of like stop it or mute it. So that's why the animals want to escape so they can get to the music again which is subTV.

I really like the work made by Anthony.

I listened to a lot of music on Pixabay and found this music with strong contrast through the keywords such as "Indie Pop""Adventure" "Background Music". I think it fits my story very well. I found that when I was choosing the keywords for my animation, it was a step to make me define my animation's style and theme, so I could find out what kind of music I wanted.

Additionally, I re-edited the music. I made the sound of the segment where the box covers the city more muffled to better match the animation and enhance the overall effect.

Things can be improve:

1. adding more scenes with 3D effects like used in the beginning.

2. put more elements relevant to the characters in the scene, making it more dynamic.

3. try some special effects in the animation background

4. think it would be beautiful to make a more extreme contrast

5. include the character in my animation

6. develop character more

This animation explores the transformation and growth of college students' identities, with a focus on the societal and personal challenges they face in shaping their individuality. The theme of personal growth strongly aligns with SubTV's brand concept: SubTV provides a platform for college study to freely choose their music preferences, encouraging them to define themselves and pursue unique paths.

The animation opens with a massive box encasing the city, symbolizing societal norms and restrictions.

The spirit animals, which are completely different from traditional forms, represent people's consciousness. Their consciousness can escape from the box ——social norms——uncontrollably, and their unique appearance symbolizes the distinctiveness of people's identities. Breaking away from societal norms means facing numerous challenges along the way. In their adventure, the characters face lots of obstacles and take different actions. Through these challenges, identities evolve; some characters reinforce their inner selves, while others develop new traits from their experiences.

This animation shows the young people's struggle to develop their identity in the society and the way they face difficulties. Ultimately, the animals enter a portal, symbolizing SubTV as a gateway to limitless self-expression and choice. This animation seeks to engage the general public, inviting them to explore and celebrate individuality.

1. Modify the way the box appears at the beginning of the animation. We need to think about how to better convey the message, and it is suggested to change the box to appear from above and cover the city.

2. The narrative needs some emotional contrast between the beginning and the end. The beginning of the city can be dark and scary and boring, showing why animals want to escape from it. Consider adding some cheering sound effects or celebratory pictures to the end to reflect the happy mood of the animal entering the new entrance.

3. Contrast the color of the animal at the end with the background of the entrance, for example by adding an aperture.

4. When making animation especially the commission, it is important to first determine the style and shape of the final logo, have a general outline and a sketch of the finished product.

Additionally, I received some feedback on my animation revisions. For example, I was advised to add some particle textures similar to those around the portal at the end and to use a brighter sound when the logo appears at the end, as this moment is significant. The background music I used previously faded out, so I made adjustments to these parts accordingly.

In conclusion, I think that the method of this segment is to take one character as the centre, and then guide the audience's eyes to another character so that after the two characters are in one scene, another character is introduced as the visual centre to speak its story.
