The CDC estimates HAIs cause at least 1.7 million illnesses and 99,000 deaths in acute care. HAIs place a tremendous burden on patients and health care settings. Why would we not utilize a new technology such as this one that is easily accessible and reports to achieve a rate of at least 70% disinfection? This could play a huge impact on the reduction of HAIs and dollars spent in excessive health care cost. Indigo-clean has over 13 years of research put into it and I think it will become a leading innovation for health care technology in the near future.
