Games that are colorful and have games within the game are also a feature I enjoy. Life is my favorite board game. It has a unique spinner and the layout uses a lot of graphics. Not necessarily gambling or anything but it's the feeling of beating the person next to you, it gives you something to play for, and it gives you a reason to get indulged into the experience. What draws my attention to board games is risk. The feeling of pursuing an action and not knowing the outcome is something that will always make me interested in a board game.
