1. "This growth mindset is based on the belief that your basic qualities are things you can cultivate through your efforts."
2. Dweck is arguing that people with a growth mindset are the people who improve their abilities through hard work, dedication, and willingness to learn from mistakes.
3. We agree with her argument because being willing to learn from mistakes will help you improve, give you confidence, and inspire you to do better. Her argument also shows the value of hard work.

Her argument in our opinion is that a growth mindset has proven to be much more helpful, challenges us, and allows us to grow in our abilities.
3. We felt that our physical responses were that is what was very helpful, we agreed with the things she was saying, and it shows different people and how everyone thinks differently.

1. The author argues that people with a fixed mind set never learn and strive to be the best they can be, instead they stay on this road of challenges that they don't now how to face.
2. She argues that people with a growth mind set tend to not use failure as a reason to give up, but a reason to get back up and do better. There is nothing wrong with making a mistake, its how you improve from them.
3. Having a growth mind set is very important. having a growth mind set will help us face challenges in the future and will also help to improve and be the best versions of ourselves rather than always running away from failure.

1. "Instead, as you begin to understand the fixed and growth mindsets, you will see exactly

how one thing leads to another—how a belief that your qualities are carved in stone leads to a host of thoughts and actions, and how a belief that your qualities can be cultivated leads to a host of different thoughts and actions, taking you down an entirely different road".

2. Dr. Carol’s argument was about having a growth mindset and I think that having that mindset is important because you can have room for growth. And being open to new ways of thinking is important because I think that it helps a child feel more confident with trying new things. And most importantly having a growth mindset can open new opportunities for you good or bad.
3. To add on, we agree with Dweck’s claim. You can choose to have a growth or fixed mindset, but the one you choose will lead you in a totally different path than others. We believe that having a growth mindset opens up more opportunities and confidence. Instead of always saying you can't do this or that, you can use a growth mindset and try again.

It was guaranteed that someone would ask the question of why
people differed—why some people are smarter or more moral—and whether there was
something that made them permanently different."

2. Dweck's argument is on how there are 2 critical mindsets. Fixed mindset is when someone people believe their basic qualities, like their intelligence or talent, are simply fixed traits. Growth mindset is when people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work, brains and talent are just the starting point.

3. People do have the ability to grow from their failures. We should teach kids or people in general that there's nothing wrong with failing and how we should continue to learn from it.

1. "Growth mindset is about the belief that your basic qualities were developed through your efforts. The growth mindset creates a powerful passion for learning. "

2. In Dweck's argument she is finding how many people cope with things differently than others do. She is also saying the assignment can come easy to a few kids but to other kids it comes challenging. Dweck was trying to that you can develop your abilities through hard work and it develops a powerful passion for learning how to do new things. Most people with a growth mindset tend to put in lots of effort and try 100% whereas people with a fixed mindset put in 0% effort and don’t wanna try as hard.

3. We believe that no one is perfect and that making mistakes is key to growing as a person and gaining more knowledge. When we push ourselves and take on challenges we learn more rather than always choosing easy paths because it won't get us anywhere. Criticism is also key in growing as a person because it lets us know what we are doing wrong and how we can fix that, but if we neglect or critics we are only stopping ourselves from going to the next level.
