Do you know Nintendo？Nintendo is famous company for making a lot of video games now, but it has been also making hanafuda since 1889. Hanafuda is like a Japanese poker. Hanafuda cards are divided into months and feature beautiful seasonal patterns. The designs include the moon, animals such as cranes, and flowers. It's a game where you play a set pair and earn points. The cards have various pairs. For example, what kind of pairs do you think there are? There are 12 types of hanafuda in total. The strongest pair is “Goko“ （五光） in it. This is the most valuable pair in the game. If you have become interested in Hanafuda after watching this movie, please recommend it to your family and friends.

I like baseball and music. Do you know Miyazaki Hayao? He is a great Ghibli author.  I like Spirited Away the best.

Sushi is one of the famous Japanese foods in Japan. Sushi is vinegared rice topped with a slice of fish, meat, or vegetables. You can enjoy a wide variety of sushi like nigiri, maki, and chirashi in Japan.

Vinegared rice for sushi is called “sumeshi” or “syari” in Japanese. You eat sushi with your fingers or chopsticks.

You eat sushi by dipping it in soy sauce.

We have a beautiful spot in Tokushima. It is Iya. It is located in Yamashiro-town, Miyoshi City. You can ride a pleasure boat there. It is very fun but it's very cold in winter.
