No founder. They repeatedly had a building that had to be closed because the court said so and eventually they found a building that the court wouldn't shut down. They believe that to achieve happiness you have to just stop caring about everything you love and stop liking everything you have because you will inevitably lose it all. They also believe in reincarnation like the Hindu people. They believe that you have to reach a stage where you stop being reincarnated and you just don't care about anything or anyone at all what so ever. Not even being happy.

No founder. The people here believe that God originally put Adam and Eve in heaven and that God wants people to make mistakes and be imperfect and that it's all good if they say sorry. A lot of people come here, mainly for a sense of community as Muslims and not as much for religion anymore. Structures like this can be found all over the world with domed roofs and big towers. I wonder if you can climb into those towers, if they have stairs or something.

Shir Tikvah is supposed to mean "song of hope". It was founded by two anonymous Jewish mothers who wanted a Jewish education for their children that was nearby. They believe in many, many, many, many religious symbols that they have to use including the star of David. They have a special Calendar that they have to live by. They have to wear special clothes and can't do anything fun on weekends ever. They have many, many rituals that they have to do on certain days at certain times. They have symbols like trees and stars and candles that have to be everywhere.

This is where the Sikh people come to worship. They speak a special, old language from Punjab, India, and they sing their holy book all the time in their special language. The men also wear head coverings a lot and even the little boys do. The head coverings are a symbols of equality for all people among the Sikhs. They also never cut their hair and play an instrument that is like a giant box accordion that you can never pick up. They always have to wear knives under their shirts and they aren't allowed to be able to access the knife, but they have to have it under their shirt. (That could be bad if they walk into something) They also have to carry a comb for their hair that they always have to keep tied up and giant, heavy metal bracelets that make it hard to move their wrists. All of these things are symbols and make it easy to identify a Sikh person.

The founder of this temple is Thirty people who were Hindu and wanted a big place of worship where they could all gather. As you can see, they incorporate idols into their worship and make offerings occasionally. There are many, many, many Hindu Gods but to simplify things, the Hindu people believe that you have to choose one god to worship eventually.

Donald C. Wilson was the closest thing they had to a founder. They have services where a man in old clothes gets up and talks for a very long time about things that he says he got out of the Bible, but are actually a mix of a lot of things that had nothing to do with the Bible, like the Egyptian dung beetle symbol of good luck, and Greek and Roman gods. While claiming to do the will of God which he expressed in his word, the Bible, they allow and encourage a lot of things that the Bible explicitly forbids. Which is fine, they can do what they want, God gave us all free will, but don't say that God approves.
