         <description><![CDATA[<div>this chapter is about the antebellum period, this period was not the best period for the African Americans. this was before the civil war. there was a conflict to weather or not let people own slaves. when Abraham Lincoln wanted to end slavery the south wanted to force slavery to keep going on. during this period women were also fighting for their rights and their voice  </div>]]></description>
