„Überraschung und gleichzeitig Freude, Glück und Dankbarkeit“. Das waren die Gefühle, die ich erlebte, als ich die Liste der ausgewählten Menschen sah. Obwohl ich während meiner Aus- und Fortbildung zahlreiche Stipendien erhalten hatte, fand ich es unglaublich noch einmal ausgewählt worden zu sein, zumal ich jetzt ein Rentner bin.

Ich fühle mich besonderes aufgeregt mit der Möglichkeit, dreiundvierzig Jahre nach meinem ersten Besuch nach Wien zu reisen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich alles mit anderen Augen sehen werde. Natürlich sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Wien großartig und sehr wichtig, aber für mich ist es nun unsere Zeit im Naturhistorischen Museum, was ich am meisten schätze.

I am very happy and excited to have been accepted into the Erasmus program in Vienna. It IS an incredible opportunity to learn, discover a new culture, and live a unique experience. I feel proud, grateful, and really looking forward to the moment.

When I got home, the first thing I did was call my parents and shout, “I’m going to Vienna!”

I´d never been there before, and I love music.

At first, I was on the waiting list. When Barbara called me, I can´t even discribe how happy I was.

I think it´s going to be such a rewarding experience.

From our very first meeting, I think we´re going to have a wonderful time with this fantastic group in this amazing city.

I am very happy because I was accepted for an Erasmus trip. Soon I will travel to Vienna for seven days with other students. I want to see the city and learn about its culture. I also want to practice the language. I think it will be a very interesting experience and a good opportunity to learn and meet new people.

Lorsque j’ai entendu parler pour la première fois du programme Erasmus+ à Vienne (une ville que j’ai toujours voulu visiter), je n’aurais jamais imaginé remplir les critères nécessaires pour pouvoir y participer.

Cependant, à ma grande surprise, il n’y avait que deux candidats pour les deux places disponibles à Astorga, donc j’ai été réellement étonnée et profondément reconnaissante pour cette opportunité.

Je suis particulièrement enthousiaste à l’idée de visiter les musées et, surtout, de découvrir l’architecture de la ville.

J’espère que ce voyage sera enrichissant sur le plan culturel et que nous passerons un très agréable moment ensemble.

The large skeleton belongs to Archelon, the largest sea turtle ever to have lived, it is one of the museum's most prized fossils.

It measured about 4.5 meters in length and lived during the Cretaceous period.

Another interesting fact about this museum is one of the world's most important natural history museums, housing over 30 million objects!

It was what I liked the most because it feels almost alive and made me imagine what its time was like, as if I were in front of a real animal from millions of years ago and could observe it up close.

Where do they truly lead?

It has been a very interesting trip , both from a cultural and personal point of view and it has been an unforgettable experience. At the beginning, we didn’t all know each other very well, but during the trip we became much closer.

We visited many famous places in Vienna, like beautiful palaces,(Sisi..) museums( Belvedere,Albertina , Secession..) the Prater ( amusement park ) the National Biblioteck , they Economic Faculty , The Cathedral and other beautiful churches and historic streets. One of my favorite moments was the concert of the wandering Dutchman in the ópera and also walking around the city. We also tried traditional Austrian food together, which made the experience even more authentic.

What made the trip really special was the group. We laughed a lot, helped each other, and shared many great moments.

In the end, it was a great opportunity to make new friends and create memories that I will always remember
