While living in Kissimmee, I was working 3 jobs. I was a freelancer for a makeup brand and a skincare brand, and I worked from home selling trading cards with my partner at the time.

While working both freelancer jobs in a day and coming home to package and ship trading cards to customers online while answering emails, needless to say I was very burnt out.

My burnout eventually led to arguments and tension between my partner and I. I felt like he was tired of me complaining and being tired all the time from working. He suggested going to therapy, which made me feel uneasy at first.

I started therapy sessions with an amazing therapist. I poured my soul out to her and was never judged. I cried, I cursed, I told her all of my insecurities- she gave me hope. I was taught that I was in control of my emotions and that I could choose to be a certain way. This changed my life.

While that partner and I are not currently together, therapy helped us through many hardships. Therapy helped me with being more mindful, I learned how to self-regulate. Therapy helped me become the person I am today.

I decided that I wanted to help people like me. I began going to school online to become a clinical therapist specializing in mental health. I am excited to continue my journey towards becoming a therapist!
