So i chose Ingnacio Martin-Baro because he seemed interesting to me. Ingnacio Martin-Baro was a well-known scholar and pretty preeminent figure. He studied and got his degree in humanities and philosophy. He also was academic vice-rector and was head of the psychology department. Another reason was also because he was known as "Padre Nacho" outside of the UCA, because of his congregation at Jayaque rural parish in the coffee growing region 30 miles west of San Salvador.

Ignacio was a psychologist who helped lead UCA. He wasn't afraid to speak up against the regime that was controlling the country, He would call out the government for blaming them and others for the terrible things that were happening. He was willing to talk out against the government even though he knew his life was in-danger. He showed courage to speak up against a power that wanted him dead, and he didn't try to hide from them.
