         <description><![CDATA[<div>The stock market crash caused a lot of banks to close after too many people tried to take their money out.  The banks were unable to give everyone all of their money that they had in the banks and a lot of people lost pretty much all of the money that they had in there.  That caused a lot of people to become homeless and jobless, which really started to hurt the economy.  </div>]]></description>

Too many people were panicking and selling their stocks too fast that the system couldn't keep up.  Eventually the stock market crashed  and billions of dollars were lost.  </div>]]></description>
