I also learned that the gangs would get into fights where they would use knifes and I also watched the trailer for the Outsiders and it said that it was the 43rd top banned book of the the United States because of the books content. I learned that even though you might get bullied for being different, most people like to be different and they have friends that are different from them.  Donna used to wear her hair down like everybody else but made the decision to put it in a scarf because that's what her culture told her to do  and it's also what she wanted to do. The "Kid President" had a list to make friends with people that are different from him. He made friends with Donna because she was a muslim and he wasn't and that's something that was different between them. Most people have a lot of different cultures and different ways of doing things but in order to be nice you have to love people for who they are and what they do. I know that sometimes when someone does something different then you ,it seems wired for example some people eat frog but a lot of others think that's wired.
