However, I haven't had a lot of time to do these things lately. I also enjoy traveling around the country and the Carribean. I am sure I will be doing a lot of traveling to Minnesota and the surrounding states. We are looking forward to checking out Mt. Rushmore (South Dakota) and the Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming). Minnesota is known as the "land of 10,000 lakes" so hopefully we will get a chance to do a lot of kayaking. My friends and I are also planning a cruise to the Mediterranean, in a couple of years, in order to visit a few European countries in one trip. Education creates opportunities for people to become successful, independent, critical thinkers that contribute immensely to society. I believe that we live in a very critical time in terms of the economy and employment prospects. With dilemma's such as job outsourcing and rising student loan debt, it is imperative that our future generation has proper guidance on how to prepare for and navigate the changing economy. Welcome to my Padlet.  I am 37 years old.  I live in New Jersey with my fiance (see picture) and my cat (not pictured). Unfortunately, he works full-time in Minnesota so he is only here on weekends now. I also try to get out to Minnesota for long weekends whenever possible. I spend most of my time either at work, commuting to work ( I work 1 hour and 20 minutes away from where I live), and completing my graduate degree. Sometimes, I find time to binge-watch my favorite shows on Netflix or hang out with friends.  I am eager to complete my graduate degree and start the next chapter of my life.  I am currently working on my Practicum experience at a Middle School. I was almost about to complete this degree when I discovered Geography.  What I love about Geography is studying human populations within a social, political, and cultural context as well as how they are aqffected by geographic regions.
